Cali is doing so many cute new things, it's hard to remember them all. She loves to eat and after each bite, she grunts - I guess she is saying "mmm...that's good!" Cali likes fruits and veggies, chicken and turkey (baby food) and puffs and cheerios. She's getting better at drinking water out of her sippy cup and she sometimes holds her bottle all on her own. She's learning to feed puffs to herself also - she can usually get a few in her mouth but some end up on the floor. Cheerios are harder to pick up - she sticks her finger in one and tries to slide it off the table (her seat attaches to the table), but then it lands on the floor.
She is rocking on all fours but will only crawl backwards and rotate. But she's definitely getting more mobile so we're going to need to baby proof the house! Cali loves bathtime and she can sit on her own in a little water now and play with her bath toys. After her bath today, she got a little haircut from mommy. Just a little trim to get it out of her eyes! Her pretty blond hair is getting highlights and growing pretty long (for her age).
Cali definitely has her moments where she is unhappy and since she's teething again, little things can really hurt her feelings or make her uncomfortable. But she is so much joy when she is happy. She talks and talks and laughs and squeals when you tickle her. I love to get on the floor and play with her. I've gotten to do a lot of that this weekend, so it has been fun!
