I can't believe it's been a whole year although when I stop and think about all the changes Cali has gone through and how she went from a helpless newborn to a toddler...it does seem like a year and more has passed.
It was fun reminiscing on her actual birthday about my water breaking and us going to the hospital and the adventure continued from there...it will be fun to tell Cali the story when she is old enough to care :) I told her this year, but who knows what she was hearing in her little head.
Cali had a fun birthday party! She enjoyed her cupcake and had fun opening her presents. I'm looking forward Cali opening up her stocking and presents on Christmas Day - she will enjoy it much more than last year :)
This week Cali starting drinking cow's milk and eating big-kid lunches at daycare. She's doing well with the changes and now mom and dad just need to get into a new routine of cooking nutritious meals for little hands. And all the new "noisy" toys that have invaded the house!
Cali weighs 23.5 pounds and is in the 85th percentile for height. She does seem a little tall for her age...we'll see if that continues.
