18 months

Cali loves to give kisses - she even kisses her teachers at school, what a sweetie. And this is what she does when it's bedtime so sometimes if she's really tired, she tells us by puckering up!

Cali likes to play with all our electronic toys - ipods, phones and the iPad. John found some kid friendly apps that are pretty fun for her and she's really good at them. She's so smart!

Cali is getting much more independent. She wants to do things on her own and if she doesn't get her way, sometimes she throws a fit. But she's also continuing to develop new words and she sometimes will chatter away but you don't quite know what she's saying...some words aren't quite right but I think it's very sweet. Cheerios = "go gos" Snack = "naa" Grapes = "beeps"

Cali got a big girl booster and she loves it. The first day we set it up, she didn't want to get out of it!

Cali is getting better at going up and down the stairs, too. She can go up without any help and she can come down while holding our hands. She will scoot down on her bottom, one step at a time :)

Cali is obsessed with washing her hands - any time water is running, she puts her arms up. Even in Lowe's today, we went by some sinks and she asked if she could wash her hands...so cute.

One day this week, Cali's teacher put her hair in very cute pig tails. We couldn't resist getting some pics outside after we got home from work...
