Cali is so funny these days - she rolls around and does this "wiggle" when she's getting sleepy. She loves to play in her saucer with all the toys around her. She even likes to be on her tummy as you can see! She has a bald spot on the back of her head, but the rest of her hair is really thick and turning blond. She's so sweet and fun to play with! I wish I had more than just this 3-day weekend to spend with her. I'm looking forward to our week in Idaho next month - it will be a nice break and extra time with my little sweety pie!
Cali is getting more aware of the things around her including her hands - she will stare at them and I wonder if she's thinking "are these mine?" before they go right into her drooley mouth!
We tried green beans this weekend - yuck. She gagged and spit them out. I guess we'll try something else this week. Hopefully she didn't inherit her dad's distaste for green veggies :) I did taste them myself just to make sure they weren't totally gross...not too bad, just tasted like green beans to me!
Don't worry about not eating pureed green vegetables. Ellie would not touch them, but now that she can chew she eats the whole version with no problem. I think the texture of green veggies pureed is a little overwhelming.
